Monsters in the Closet

Almost done working with Patrick Rahall and Ashes von Nitemare on our first collaborative project, Monsters in the Closet.  Very excited to see how the reception goes and I'm just glad I was able to put my ego aside long enough to work with someone.

I've Been Away

I know I've been away for a long time, but I'm here now, and that is what is the most important thing.  I won't ask if you've missed me, because that doesn't matter.  Again, I'm here now and that's what counts.  I have been working on a lot of stories, working especially closely with Patrick Rahall on some projects but it's been hard because he's been doing a lot of stuff as well.  Just wanted to give you a head's up on some of his stuff.  Check out his blog, Randomness of the Universe and Other Places at pjrahall.blogspot.com

Seed

So I have been following @PatrickRahall on Twitter for a short time, but from the way he was constantly plugging Seed, I decided to check it out.  It was only 99 cents, so I figured even if he was way off and the book sucked, I wouldn't be all that upset.  I was blown away.  It takes a lot to creep me out and I was genuinely freaked.  I especially like Charlie's line "You still have Abby".  I won't get into the context of that quote, but rest assued it will make your blood run cold.  In addition, I also checked out Listening to Ian Magick by Tamworth Grice.  Another quality thrill ride.  I am going to have to follow more people on Twitter and read their work in the hopes that people will read mine once I release it.

Fucking Hurricaine

Hurricane Irene hit my neck of the woods today.  Great thing was I didn't have to work because they closed every store in Rhode Island as well as Massachusetts in preparation.  This was unexpected because even when there is a massive snowstorm we still have to go in.  So that was a huge plus for me.
So a little about myself.  I am a horror writer and I am currently working on a project with both Patrick Rahall and Alyn Day.  It is a zombie tale, so I am loathe to tell you more other than it will be brilliantly graphic as well as a great story.  I am also working on a story that will be bereft of hope but full of terror.  It is simply titled "The Hunting Trip".  I will post more as warranted.  Until next time...
